💡 Efficiently Charge Your PlayStation 3 Controllers with Nyko Charge Base - Includes 2 Port Controller Charger and 2 USB Charge Adapters Review

I bought this to work with a pair of aftermarket PS3 controllers that are 99% the same form factor as the original PS3 dual shock controllers. In the last 1% they differ slightly (literally less than about 1/16 inch around the bottom of the joystick body; which means they don't sit in the base and change. I can still do that for the original controller , but it doesn't work with anything even slightly different, which is a bummer.

This works very well with my PS3 Sixaxis controllers. I had to bend the pins to make better contact with the remote, but it was quick and easy. Sometimes you still have to wiggle the controller a bit when you place it in the base for it to start charging, but that's no big deal and most of the time it's not necessary. The adapter for the controllers is a bit tight and difficult to remove, but I don't need it so it's not a big deal. These issues are minor and overall it's great.

**NOT DEFECTIVE, SMALL DEFECT THAT CAN BE FIXED** I've seen reviews of contacts not touching and not charging without pressing. Just grab a toothpick or something similar and pull the stylus out of the main dock. Some of them get stuck (probably during transport), but they can be dragged into place. Very disappointed with this product. The controller should sit directly on the spring-loaded charging connector. There is no way to snap the controller into the slot, so the connector usually pops out of the controller. I can get the top slot to load the Sony controller (Dual Shock 3 Sixaxis) but the bottom slot doesn't work because the spring is too stiff.
