Large Insertion Gauge

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this sensor. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The gauge runs smoothly, the wood is well finished, the brass inserts are polished and machined smooth.

Good quality at a great price

If you are a professional carpenter, you will need to finish the wood with oil and finish the edges and marking slot. Perfect for the average carpenter.

Disassembling a small mortise gauge for the price.

The thread was a bit coarse when twisted. However, a little oil on the threads after fully opening and it works great. If you are a beginner and looking for an inexpensive plug-in sensor, this is the way to go.
