For sports and outdoor accessories, the tape breaks easily

The tape has already broken in two places and is now unusable. First it tore where I was going to attach the tape. Then he tore the real compass apart again. Comps also can't be removed from the group, so it's practically garbage now. It's a shame, because I really liked the computers themselves.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • No work

A scuba essential

A scuba essential. I've tried diving with only relative bearings and almost couldn't find my way back, even in a place I've been to several times. I can now register headings and show locations on the map to make it easier to pick up people who are less familiar with the area.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Great compass, a must have for a shore diver

Great product! I have been diving with this compass for 3 years and now we have bought a second one for my wife. Easy to put on with one hand and glows well on night dives after refilling with a flashlight. The strap is long enough to wrap around my wrist over both a lycra and a wetsuit. I don't know how low he scores, but he did 180 feet with me.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Appearance

Large well built wrist compass.

The compass is pretty much as described with a large clear display, top and side view functions and a strong strap. I haven't used it underwater yet, so I can't speak about its performance in that environment. But I'm one of those divers who easily gets lost underwater, so I'm sure a tool like this will help me find my way back to the boat.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Very expensive

Well built. Big bezel. Durable/Lightweight.

Well built. Very large front panel (about 2 feet wide and 1 inch high). The rubbery band/tape has sufficient flexibility and elasticity. The lumbar line of the compass is easy to find and the numbers around the compass are quite large. Looks strong yet light. I would buy this product again and recommend it. Just be prepared for a huge face on this one.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Concise instructions

works very well. The map is not that picky.

works very well. The map isn't as finicky as other compasses I've used in the past, meaning you don't need it to be 100% accurate for it to navigate accurately. The care/face glows for a few minutes if briefly exposed to light before diving. I actually put my dive light on the compass briefly and it lit up for about 10 minutes after being exposed to the dive light for just a few seconds, which exceeded my expectations. The hand strap is long enough to fit around a bulky dry suit, but with…

Broken compass strap

Strap is made of fragile Chinese plastic. Not the kind of rubber that should be used for diving. My harness snapped on the second dive I used it on. The strap was a bit loose on my wrist after my first dive that day, so I tightened it by one adjustment hole. When I resurfaced, I noticed that the strap had broken at the adjustment hole, which I had also tightened, and at the hole where I put the extra strap back through the buckle. Replacing the belt costs $30. So wear it a little loose and…

  • Easy to use

The fluorescent back worked great. I have during a night dive and .

Used on one dive and performing well. The fluorescent back worked great. I used it during a night dive and only charged it once during a dive, but I never charged it properly, maybe 10 seconds. A longer initial charge can extend the service life. The rotating bezel moves easily and the rubber line is great. My only complaint is that you have to hold your hand to use it. For those who find it difficult to stay on course without constantly looking at the compass, it can be difficult to keep your…
