My 48 Volt Unit Caught Fire After

Update: After 4 Months, Still never heard back from the manufacture after multiple e-mails. Literally there is no support for this device. Original Post: 1st unit I ordered was a 24 volt, Lasted about 2 months and then smoked and started sounding low battery alarm. Returned for a 48 Volt unit, this unit was in service less then a week ( I left it in the box for over a month before putting into service ) and caught fire. This unit never saw more then 10% load and was under less than 1% load when

Not worth the money you save.

I have installed a few of these for clients. Now I am discovering the quality control is not what we need it to be. I will no longer use these inverter units for myself or anyone else and cannot recommend them.The most recent failure Is a frequency problem. A 60hz unit making 51hz power? Really? Needless to say, motors overheating and clocks running slow from bad frequency control is a problem. Other random failures and glitches seem to plague these Inverters and warranty replacement is time…

Rock solid inverter

This inverter had no issues with the in-rush current of my 20+ year old AC unit (220V, 1800W). I tried 2 other inverters before. One gave a fault mode once a week (and I had to reset it manually) and the other (Powerjack) completely blew up. I din’t talk to no one in tech support there is no remote control and instructions they are very confusing I don’t see any damage but when I will install we find out if works

Great inverter so far

This is a great inverter so far. As others have mentioned, there is no manual/instructions that come with it and tech support is lacking, but as far as how it performs thus far, it's a great value for the money.I will update my review if I see any issues, but thus far, I'm very pleased with it.

Seems to pull a lot more battery power than what I'm asking for.

One Issue, so far, when I pull 3600 watts through the 240v (15 amps), it's popped some pretty massive circuit breakers (400 amps @25v, 10,000 watts). Next, I'm putting 900 amps of breaker on the 24v supply lines (21,600 watts), if it pops that, something ain't right! I'll update this later if I can.

Robust Off-Grid Solution

Very happy with this inverter. I have been tinkering with off-grid solar projects in my garage but wanted the ability to do more. This was a significant upgrade for me from a 12v 2000w inverter. So happy to have split phase and more capacity. I run a fridge and charge power tool batteries off it with two 12v 200ah AGM batteries in series and 200w of solar panels. Love that I can plug in a space heater no problem now.

The seller is Crap!

The product was ok, but the seller is crap! My Inverter was bad, I sent it back to them over a month ago, and havn't gotten the replacement yet!

Not your everyday inverter.

If size and weight mean quality then this thing is top notch. Was blown away by the sheer size and weight of this unit. Very very very nice unit for the priceUpdate:Finally got this unit hooked up with the rest of my solar arangement. Its so odd to see a inverter handle a huge load of a microwave without even caring. Very happy.One year update, still working great, the plugs on the unit both have stopped working for unknown reasons. But it keeps muscling along everyday.

Didn't work for our 48v 16kw system

We connected this to our solar panel system in our RV and it has been a pain to have to constantly manage the settings and modes.Our RV came with a small 12v setup and we upgraded it to include a 48v system that will power both lines. We have 16k panels input and 300ah battery set up and we cannot charge/top off the battery pack and run an air conditioning unit, even plugged up to 30 or 50 amp without the unit cutting off as a fault, even by lowering the battery feed to almost nothing.
