Walking with Gram and Gramps

When grandchildren come over, we're happy to let them help in the garden or climb trees. The clothes they often wear are too good for our 'game' type, so having 5 different sizes of unisex overalls seemed like the best solution. Now three girls under the age of 3 are coming to visit, but who knows, maybe a boy will show up one day :)

The barrel is very small. They are perfect for my almost 4 year old. Best suited for tall, slim children.

The pants are ok, looks well tailored and nice. They are finely woven cotton that will not yield or stretch. My main concern is that I bought a size 5 with the intention of my son wearing them summer and fall, but for now they fit perfectly and I don't see them lasting more than a few months. My son is tall, average build, he is almost 4 years old for reference.

I can't understand these buckles.

You might have thought that my master's degree would help me in life, but unfortunately that didn't happen. The buckles came loose and I don't know how to fix it. I can only sew on the closures. This is an inconvenience considering how busy I am with my baby. But the clothes are super cute! I'm not sure if it's worth $30 but it's cute and I'm looking forward to him wearing it again. It doesn't feel super durable, but it doesn't feel too cheap either. My kid only wore it once and it looked soโ€ฆ
