Big and clumsy security threat

I am so disappointed in this chair. First, it's a monster and weighs a ton. Second, the backrest slides up and down and doesn't lock, so it keeps slipping off when you move the chair's seat or slide the chair around - very annoying. Third, the seat adjuster suddenly disengages from a fixed position, pushing you forward and requiring you to readjust the seat with the lever at the bottom. I do this about 10 times a day trying to think about the NEXT chair I'm going to buy. AVOID this chair and…

Worth the trouble Best in Furniture

Instructions weren't great. In fact, they were pretty lackluster, but if you're skilled and have already packed, you should be fine. Several hex head screws attaching the main mechanism to the underside of the chair seat had to be turned 1/6 to 1/4 turns each depending on their position, and one had to be moved to a corner, particularly for downloads. It was a slow process using only the tools provided. HOWEVER, as they say, this is a very comfortable chair and it works pretty well. I added…

Difficult to assemble

Cons: Instructions are crammed into a small area with no step-by-step photos. Whatever the extra cost of 1 more sheet of paper, it was worth it. I'm still not sure if my chair is assembled correctly. Also, they provided the wrong tool for the job (see photo). They provide the wrench shown in the photo above, which prevents you from getting to some of the places needed to assemble the chair. The instructions tell you to disassemble the additional parts of the chair to get at the screws instead…

The absolute worst chair I have ever bought

I received the box and it was huge and very heavy. I thought it was a good sigh as a sturdy chair has to weigh a lot. I took everything out of the box and put it back together. As soon as I sat on it I realized it was bad. The chair is very high. If you are under 6 feet, good luck getting your feet touching the ground. I've tried adjusting it to go deeper but not into the bone. The height of the seat overrides everything else, so the palm rests made contact with my desk no matter what height I…
