Locks do not have a mounting flange to keep the locks in place in the door, so they slip and slide around and fail to be installed properly. Yea, they have what looks like a really tiny bump the edge, but it does not allow the lock to seat in the door mounting hole. One itty bitty bump or push, and the locks get out of alignment and that means more fussing and messing with it, especially for what is alleged to be an exterior lock. This is the cheapest made item I have ever bought, one of the deadbolt locks won’t work the other I was barely ableTo install it took me 3 hours Bc you can’t tighten the lock or it won’t turn then it doesn’t open and close properly DONT recommend to anyone

Kind of cheep. If I were in a store and picked it up, I would not have bought it. I have three other locks on my front door so I will keep it. If this were my only lock I would seen it back.

Last resort for keeping autistic child of walking out the house front door without us. One scare was more than enough and we have tried different safety locks but she has figured out how to open all them.

They installed easily in place of the old brass deadbolts that I was replacing. I don't think these are as secure as the old Kwikset deadbolts that I replaced. These don't have as much steel armor surrounding the locks.

Husband was unable to install. We called a prodessional locksmith that was also unable to install. His recommendation.Send It Back!

Cheaply-made but just about good enough. I loved the idea of a single key fitting multiple locks. The problem for me is that they just flat-out didn't work. I spent hours of frustration trying to assemble these devices in a way that would allow them to work. I finally got one to work (sort of) but with some really odd complications: the deadbolt would not activate unless there was a key inserted into the lock - then it worked just fine. Remove the key and the deadbolt became jammed. Issue #2…

Bought two, one was perfect, the other - you couldn't remove the key unless you turned the key within a hair of being unlocked for the key to become removable=practically worthless!

Use them on my Ranch in Texas 4 doors down stairs one door upstairs out on the balcony install great simple and works fantastic

Very hard to keep locked and get key out from outside. You could turn it around maybe but then it would have screws on the outside where it is not safe at all or it would be upside down maybe. I don’t know. I do like the keys all being the same but it’s more of a pain than helpful when I can’t lock it right
