Ordered these because the title says 'solid brass'. They are not solid brass (the details say they are copper, I don't think they are copper either). They are not even the same color as shown in the pictures. Not to mention they seem cheap - I wouldn't trust them to withstand any kind of tension.

Part number BRA0076 is for two different sized latches. With each order you will receive either the larger or the smaller ones. There is no way to ask for a specific size. I didn't know until I went back after purchase and found it in the size options chart. The BRA0076 comes in two different sizes, so don't be surprised if you get either or . I needed big ones but they sent small ones instead. They're still good, but we're too small for what I need them for.

The tip of the button was silver so I took an emery board and ran it over the ends of the button and hook and of course both sides are silver. Without scientific testing, I would assume this is coated with some aluminum that makes it look like gold. It's not heavy enough to be brass. It's too shiny to be brass.
