Quick fix for my horrible floors

When I moved into my new home, I found that the hardwood floors on the second floor were in terrible shape. The previous owners used carpets and furniture to dress them up, so I had no idea. I was devastated. I couldn't afford to repaint them, so I spent the money on undersized, cheap rugs. But the scratches and discoloration annoyed me. Luckily I came across a suggestion for Old English on some website. I don't even remember where I read about it. Can't tell how much better the floors look…

it is like a stain and needs to be absorbed into the skin.

I used this product to try to cover up some scratches on my cherry wood staircase. Here's the thing, it's like wood stain and should soak into the wood, if it does it will hide the scratch well. I think most of the bad reviews come from situations where people have tried using this over a polyurethane or lacquer finish. In this case, the product does not penetrate the wood and only serves as a cleaner to polish the wood. There were several spots on my stairs where I had to gently scratch the…

Sorcery, (pretty) strong sorcery

Edit: After a few weeks the stain has evaporated and the scratches have returned. So I bought a polyurethane spray from a hardware store, reused the stain and sprayed lightly on the polyurethane. I took off one star because it wasn't as perfect as I thought it would be. But polyurethane worked wonders. When I bought my house, built in 1987, I had the brilliant idea of putting a garbage can under the kitchen drain. My German Danes thought it smelled pretty cool, so they spent the first day I…

Amazing little bottle

I think the name is a little misleading because this thing is universal. I sprinkle it on parquet floors, rub it lightly with a paper towel and that's it. I have a feeling this is the new soil in a bottle. It fills in scratches, evens out discolouration, polishes and even protects. I also use it to cover up scratches on furniture. This little bottle makes a big difference. I just made my first floor, dining room furniture and bay window seat with just this little container. In an hour. I…

This stuff is really magical!

I was stunned when I used it to wipe a scratch on the floor and she immediately disappeared before my eyes. I still followed the rest of the instructions to rub the area around the scratch and dry it to a high gloss, but the whole process took about 30 seconds. I had to look closely at my before photos to make sure I got them right adjusted the photo afterwards because I couldn't find any more scratches. Looking around at an angle with a flashlight I was finally able to figure out where it was,
