This is one of the cheapest metal brushes and it does what it does, which is hold the brush! It fits my small Edwin Jagger travel brush (19mm knot) loosely about 7/8ths of the way down the top of the handle (see pics) so it can definitely hold a larger brush, maybe up to a 25mm knot depending on handle size.
