Installed in 1 minute on my 96 XJ. No problem - I find it fits cans (12oz / 16oz) really well, but sometimes big things don't fit very well. I think most people fix it by cutting off the bottom. But I usually have smaller cans or drinks. Works great for me!

I had high hopes for this cup holder. As the owner of two older Jeeps ('95 and '96), one of my biggest complaints is the lack of cup holders. The concept is great. Installation is really easy, but the mount itself is pretty small and not very convenient. It doesn't actually hold anything but a 12-ounce tin can. I ended up buying window coasters from WalMart and they work really well. I'm keeping this cup holder just in case, but I won't be buying it again.
