Omix Ada 17230 03 Starter Solenoid Review

This was the second defective magnet of the new Omix-Ada starter. He melted my ignition control module and burned my ignition coil on a 1986 JEEP CJ7. The battery current/voltage came from the "S" and "I" terminals with the ignition off.

Works great. My only complaint is that I have too many wires on the hot side, so I ended up removing some of the filament to compress it, then soldered some wires together to reduce bulk, and the nut on the Base removed The terminal. to free up more threads so I can still use it, but it would be nice to have a solonoid with a very long connector on the hot side.

I will give this 4 stars until I can test for durability/quality. However, it looks good and is an exact replacement for my CJ-7. I have read many reviews about the quality and quality control of all Omix Ada products. However, I am not here to refute or prove any claims. However, I'm wondering if some of those reviews claiming they received the faulty one are because people are too lazy to disconnect their battery and short-circuit the thing when installing it.
