Medium Quality: Replacement

It is sluggish/hanging and has an uneven matte sheen. You can see the crease in the middle that makes it look cheap. Made in China!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Shift boot is the best replacement part

Wish there was something on it to keep it from slipping off. You have to tighten it often so that it doesn't get lost and doesn't get in the way when changing gears.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not sure

Great fit. for spare parts

Nice boot. Ease of installation. It's a little tight, which makes shifting a bit difficult. But he breaks free and the jeep is much quieter and warmer. Didn't know how old it was leaking.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • A few little things

I will make a cheaper replacement for a worn out regular one.

Not quite suitable for my LiveJournal but works well as a stopgap until I finish and fully assemble it. At the moment this avoids road noise and a lot of heat gain/loss.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Nothing wrong with that

this boot is really ok but it doesn't work with my jeep. The jeep has a body lift and engine mounts. Second gear and reverse put the shifter too close to the plastic trunk frame for that hard rubber boot to fit. Will have to look for an alternative boat.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • communication with seller

Great price, very thick

Bought for a 1999 Jeep Wrangler. I've owned this car since 1999 so I had to buy a pair of these boots when they started tearing. It has the thickest rubber I've ever seen and also the lowest price I've found. Very happy with the quality especially at this price… I wish I had bought 2. Great!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Expensive

Do not use on Jeeps with any type of lift kit

I bought this for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler with a 3" lift kit. The tires are much thicker than stock. When shifting into 2nd and sometimes 4th .gear it pops out of the mechanism because the boot is too thick at the bottom.I emailed the seller and the response was: It looks like you have either bodywork or suspension. It also has an unsightly one Seam where the two halves were probably vulcanized together in the form of so if you have a lift don't buy beware

Pros
  • Dope 🔥

Incorrect size shown in detail.

To be honest I bought this as a spare. I bought it because the sizes listed needed to fit my application. The sizes in the listing are not even close to the actual size of the product. The base measures 4-1/2 inches by 6 inches and if you stretch it all the way out it will be 7 inches. It's a far cry from the 7" x 7" x 5" listed in the description. Quality, it seems like a very good deal and it should work fine for the exact application it was made for. My only problem was the wrong…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I will add later
