Bought to build a relay box for my jeep accessories. Bought an old relay box for a Bosch relay to avoid this problem. The blades are too wide for the box slots. It would be nice to know before I paid extra for "hard work".

We use a relay to start the large fan motor in our hot rods. The fans we use have a high inrush current that will blow the more common 30/40 amp relays and shut down the cooling system when it's needed most. These relays solve this problem at low cost.

I needed a way to turn off my jack and retractable controls in my RV. I was a little concerned that the wires on the harness weren't thick enough, but they were short enough that this wasn't a problem. Everything works perfectly. The time will show.

Excellent results! I use them on an electric fan installed in my pickup truck. I like how the sockets are close together. This makes it very easy to install. The only thing I can say is a bit annoying that the relays are very difficult to connect but then again never vibrate.

They are NOT rated for 60/80 amps. Relay socket WIRE 12 awg, which is designed for approx. 23 amps! It will handle 35A depending on the temperature, but this is not recommended. NOT 60 and certainly not 80. Just because someone has PRINTED 60/80 on packaging doesn't mean they can handle it. I don't blame the seller because they might not know, but this is another mislabeled Chinese product. It is suitable for continuous current of 30A, but not for 40, 60 or 80.

I bought these relays to power a 50A electric fan in my car. The factory fan controller died and I needed an inexpensive solution to get it working. They have heavier gauge wire on the load terminals to allow them to handle the 60/80 amp rating. I connected a wire directly to the fan circuit and ignition switch power supply. These relays and sockets are designed to work together only, they will not fit standard Bosch relays. It is also not possible to plug the relay into the sockets with the center wire in the socket. I ordered to have them on hand when I needed the relay, but after opening the box and seeing that they had already been tried by someone else and sent back, the return period was over! 3 out of 5 relays someone tried to use in sockets and messed them up so they were useless! I am an electrical engineer and bought 20 of these relays to build an SUV and was initially impressed with the finish and quality. When the car was first used, one of the relays failed and some of the headlights would not come on. Replaced the relay and the problem went away. Failed again after a few uses. I tapped the relay and everything was fixed. Then the car did not start - the relay clicked again. Now the machine has overheated and destroyed the motor because the fan relay failed. These…
