I doubt it given the price but the best cleaning I have ever met other than for a good dentist. I thought the app was useless but it helps make sure I'm covering all areas and not always paying attention to where I'm brushing so it's helpful. The case is great and I love that you can charge the battery while in storage.

I find the app far from appropriate for how you brush your teeth and what areas. He wants you to deep clean the edges of your teeth but clean all my crowns and fillings which is NOT a good idea. When I feel the pressure is just right, he tells me to press harder. I love the toothbrush and charger but the app needs a lot of work.

The Oral-B IO 9 has one major problem: it's too easy to tip over and fall to the ground, smashing a $300 device! Compare it to my old Oral-B Pro (see photos). This toothbrush does a good job of basic cleaning, but the extra features don't seem thought through or useful enough to justify the high price. There are seven brushing modes such as Daily, Sensitive, Whitening, etc., which can be easily changed even while brushing. I bought an iO Series 9 this week and unfortunately I am returning the product. I have very sensitive teeth (thin enamel - according to my dentist) and using a toothbrush quickly increased my sensitivity. Just a few days after using it, I immediately started feeling pain when eating nuts or drinking cold drinks. Please note I have only used it in high sensitivity or gum care modes and Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste. I suppose this is a great product for people who don't suffer from my condition,

My son doesn't brush his teeth well. He tends to skip parts, doesn't brush long enough, etc. Annoyed, I finally decided to shell out the money for this toothbrush so he can track on the app if he brushed and brushed ALL his teeth. Spring. I'm so glad I did. He's actually 100% motivated now and I finally have reassurance that he's brushing his teeth well (and can save us both a fight).
