Just tested yesterday

I ran a pretty tough 5k yesterday and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised not to have run it first. The trail was muddy as hell so the tread probably didn't do much for me, but I felt a lot more ground contact but was still soft. My only issue is that the trail was gravel and when I stumbled over this rock that I had never seen before I was in pain. I would never feel that with your standard shoes, but it's a compromise. I will definitely wear them on my next trail run.
