Works but buyer beware

Oil pressure reads correctly while driving but when you stop the gauge drops and jumps. They said the sensor was defective but my returns window has closed so buy at your own risk.

LOW QUALITY. Use OEM only

Used on 2004 350z. Worked fine for a year, now it's urinating oil on the gasket and giving me crazy readings. oem is the only way to get oem for about the same price on Z1motorsports.com.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I do not recommend. on Switches

After about 6 months of use, there was a leak between the metal base and the plastic case. The original Nissan block has a gasket between the two sections which is not present here. I used the correct deep socket and a light hand torque for the installation. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Works well and price was good

Works well and price was good. My oil pressure was high in a 2005 Xterra. This fixed the situation and I have good readings again. You'll lose about 1/2 cup of oil when you switch, so don't put your face directly under the oil. The connector fits with no problems. Only about 30 minutes of work.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No automatic

It shouldn't be on a 2005 Xterra (although.

It shouldn't be on a 2005 Xterra (although the specs say it). Fits, but now oil pressure gauge (idle) is very low and the oil light comes on, as soon as i crank the oil pressure gauge goes back to normal and the oil light goes out but goes back to very low if the gas pedal is not depressed, don't buy this for Xterra2005.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Available in black only

Product works. Fast delivery. The device has a 15/16" hex, but the housing in front of the hex does not allow a 15/16" deep socket to be placed on it. I used a 1" deep socket, but tightened the last part with an open-end wrench. Make sure you have teflon thread tape. A small amount of oil will spill, so be prepared to catch it. 15 minutes of work, though even though I worked as a professional mechanic on a 2006 Nissan Xterra 4X4 OffRoad, the installation involved all sorts of standard things…

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Appearance

Fixed Oil Pressure Sensor Linked Issue

Direct replacement for 2006 Nissan Pathfinder SE. My oil pressure sensor suddenly went to the maximum pressure and stayed there with no change in the car's behavior. Stopping the car and turning it on without starting the engine showed that the pressure was still at maximum. This pretty much proved the problem was electrical and not oil pressure. Watching several videos on this symptom convinced me that the problem is with this sensor (apparently most people have a problem immediately after…

Pros
  • GOLS Certification
