This programming cable works very well. I used it with CHIRP. The software CD that comes with the cable is entirely in Chinese. Be careful, CHIRP does not yet have a Baofeng UV-9R in its radio that it will program. SOLUTION. Use the Baofeng GT-3WP setup and it works great. (The Baofeng GT-3WP has the same connector as the UV-9R.) Overall, it fits the connector perfectly. (Also, it doesn't come with a thumbscrew as advertised.) Otherwise, highly recommended.

The battery I received didn't fit my UV-9R Plus. I'm not sure if the design of the case has changed slightly, so I received my radio on the same day from a different seller at Revain. The serial number starts with 19UV9R. could that mean it's a 2019 model? However, I was able to file off the plastic on the battery where it got in the way and it now works perfectly. This replacement battery is slightly thicker than the original battery, but now fits snugly. Fits the charger exactly.

This battery pack fits and charges perfectly on my two UV9R Plus radios with OEM chargers that I bought from Mirkit. I believe if you buy goods and radios from an authorized Baofeng dealer in the US like Mirkit you shouldn't have any problems. I will update this review if the batteries die prematurely. One downside is that I couldn't find any amp hour batteries that came with my radios, but they should work well enough for a backup situation. I will buy them again.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the HT fastening screw is missing. However, this is not required. Since the "clone" connection isn't used often, a pair of rubber bands will hold it in place during transfers. Keep in mind that this is a dust and watertight connector, not a Kenwood-style two-pronged connector. The cable came quickly and once I found it programmed it quickly. However, it took me about two hours to figure it out. Learn from my mistakes so you can get the job done quickly when you get yours.
