Very disappointed: blades

Very disappointed. Bought these to cut holes in the tiles in my summer kitchen to install vents that a builder needed to install. I couldn't finish a hole (two needed) and the blades were all worn out. I need to buy another product hoping it works better. I would only recommend the softest material.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

It's like toys

When the grout was removed, they were toasted after removing about an inch of grout with 2" floor tiles and 1/8" grout lines near a wall that an angle grinder can't reach could. They are very thin and light. The top of the angle grinder was too low to use with my DeWalt XR grinder. I ended up using a Lowe titanium grit hand scraper but reduced the depth I went into hard to reach areas.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • So far so good

Fairly easy to use

I bought these because I accidentally used a quick set mortar on a kitchen splashback and it seized up before I could smooth it out. It was fairly easy to apply the grout below the surface of the tile so I could apply more. I only used one blade for the entire project so I think the money was well spent. I wish they were a hair thinner, it was difficult to keep them on the grout and not scratch the tiles.

Pros
  • handy
Cons
  • thin

It seems to have paid off I think.

Not sure if it's a diamond or not (according to docs) but I bought this kit to fix a mistake I made when I forgot Floor to install a 45 degree return on the shower room. So I had to cut about a 3 inch piece of Bullnose porcelain tile at a 45 degree angle. I did about half with 4 blades to get to the cut. Luckily, after the blades stopped cutting well, I was able to use a dull blade to remove a thin layer from the backing and crack the tile along the cut. So good enough to "kinda" cut this tile,

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Useless features

Nice set of blades for the price but wears out a bit quickly

I bought a 7 piece set of Ohuhu blades to freshen up the tiles in the kitchen. The price is actually very good compared to well-known brand competitors, a Dewalt blade will set you back $15-$20, but with this set you get 7 pieces for just over $20. The main issue I have is that the blades wear out quicker compared to more expensive brands. I've only been working on removing grout from a few tiles and you can see that the diamond tipped swivel blade has obvious signs of wear. Not a bad deal, but

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • Available in white only
