Too small. Avoid size XL or larger.

Great idea but I had to either return or give mine away. I decided to give it to someone I knew who needed it. The reason I had to get rid of it was because the dimensions are too damn small for my body. Even with fully tensioned belts. Big means big. Not XL.

    Great lightweight option for hiking

Used on AT hikes. Minimum volume if you want to try Ultralight. Excellent product, there is a water blister but not used. Great expandable zippered side pockets, perfect water bottle pockets, well designed. The only downside is that the back pocket doesn't expand much, making it difficult to tuck into a rain jacket.

    love this bag on backpacks

For those of you considering this bike bag just go for it. I have yet to carry significant weight but this is a super comfortable backpack that can be used for running but also works very well on a bike. The front pockets are what really sets this model apart from most. As the name suggests, I love this bag and it's now my absolute favorite bag.

Osprey is back in the business of quality bags

Great bag. I've spent quite a bit of time browsing to find the best backpack for long runs with my dog. This one was perfect. It offers enough space for everything you need for a day hike/jogging (laying hens, leash, snacks, book, etc.) and enough water. The bag fastens with straps to keep it from moving while running. Perfect bag!

    Lightweight, compact and functional

I've been using my Osprey 15L backpack for over 2 months and absolutely love it. I used it on the longest end-to-end Grand Canyon hike of my life last month and it worked like magic. Extremely good and thoughtful functional design, worked well for my 50 mile trip. As does the fact that it has a 2.5 liter water tank compared to others that only had 2 liters which makes a huge difference during strenuous outdoor activities. Must have for long hikes Highly recommended!

    Best backpack I've ever owned

This set is amazing. Low weight, lots of storage space, great hydration system. Love the double chest straps, they are very easy to buckle and clasp. The pockets on the straps are large enough for sunglasses (they're also soft so I'm sure my lenses won't get scratched), a portable GPS, and snack wraps. My only two complaints: I wish it had a stronger handle (as opposed to a coat-style loop) for lifting and hanging, and the hydration tube sometimes detaches and falls to the ground when I'm…

    Terrible blister on backpacks

I needed a new running backpack. This item is highly rated. I like the sheer amount of pockets and pouches, that's all. The bladder adopts a foldable design, which takes too long to fill. If I actually used that for a long race I would lose time filling my bladder. I had to watch the video. To do this, you need to buy a screw-top camera, and everything is fine. The upper chest straps are wobbly and not very adjustable. I'm not a man, but if I was, this thing wouldn't fit. Luckily I'm a common…

For more serious hikes/full-day hikes, my wife and I take our daypacks with water reservoir packs. Being at home and doing shorter/intermediate hikes in all weathers, we were looking for a backpack that could hold enough water for both of us without each of us carrying a bottle in each hand. Simple convenience. The 2.5 liter is a great volume for covering fairly decent distances and warm weather hikes. Additional storage is available if needed. The backpack is comfortable and fairly adjustable…

    Great specs but big.

Initial Rating (4 Stars): I've used the Osprey Duro 1.5 and love it, but I've ordered a larger pack for my upcoming multi-day ultramarathon. this new backpack in a short run but it's almost as comfortable as I expected. It does feel a bit loose at the top/back of the shoulders but I think once I've fully filled my bladder and stuffed some of the pockets with gear the fit will be better. While the fit wasn't as snug as I'm used to from the 1.5, the pack didn't bounce noticeably and I found it…
