🔴 Oster 6845 5-Cup Glass Jar 16-Speed Blender in Metallic Red: Versatile and Powerful Review

I have no regrets that I bought this wonderful blender. I wanted the red mixer to blend in with my other red appliances. That works great. Breaks ice and is great for smoothies. It's also multifunctional.

This is not a food processor but a good blender as advertised. Milkshakes, smoothies, and ice mixed with drinks work well. This is the blender I ordered and received.

Looks great. It is very stylish but unfortunately not suitable for crushing/crushing ice for frozen drinks. Haven't tried it for smoothies, but anything with ice turns into puree forever. It sounds powerful but lacks brilliance in performance. Very disappointed.

We received the Oster blender in metallic red and are very, very pleased with the look and function of this blender. We particularly like the collar on the underside of the blender. so easy to attach the glass to the base after cleaning. It is very quiet in operation and at the same time very powerful.

I have no idea how this blender works. I didn't even take it completely out of the box! I started but it was covered in fine dirt and the clear plastic cover was scratched! I tried cleaning the lid, thinking maybe it was just dirt making it look scratched, but that didn't work. So there was NO reason to take it out of the box. If it had been shipped in a different box it might not have gotten so dirty. i have to return it

I have had an Oster 16 speed blender for over 20 years. It was a great little workhorse until I started adding kale to smoothies. So I bought this. I only used it once and almost returned it because I couldn't understand the black collar. I finally saw it click into place. However, I will not use it. This can reduce noise, but adds another step to the mixing process. I make a lot of smoothies and will use it without the collar. With this amount of pulp, I use it on slow mode, grind and then…
