Great product! Color (4000K), brightness (lumens), quality of materials (cast aluminum, good quality plastic) are amazing! I just wish the round bezel was wider (just a bit - 1/8'). But in general, he was the ONLY one who crawled through non-standard holes. Look at the picture where the LED is compared to the old CFL! the difference is amazing! Thanks AUSTWIN! I am very pleased!

A bright white LED downlight requires good strategy to cut a hole in the ceiling.

Light is a bright white light suitable for reading at the breakfast bar. I connected mine to a wall dimmer and it works well with another dimmable LED light that was already connected in the kitchen. What I didn't like about the installation was the cut out in the ceiling for the recessed light. The cut out for the 6 3/16" diameter hole had to be almost exact as the ceiling tile was only about 1/8" wide. Not much room for error. We ended up drilling small holes around the perimeter and then…

IC Certified - can be installed in direct contact with insulation

I replaced the 6 inch glass with this one. The glass hole was so big that I only had to cut off 1/4 inch of the parts that weren't "perfectly round". I connected the original wiring to the connectors provided, slipped the J-box under the adjacent insulation, cut the R30 insulation to fit the cavity of the can, and installed the light. Powerful light in a small form factor

It was amazing to see the difference between this new ultra slim LED light and the old incandescent light bulb I removed. The old device was huge and chunky, but this new one is very thin and even its electronics box is much smaller than the old one. This light is VERY bright, which is a plus and a minus.
