Description of Enhanced OTC 7215 Exhaust Back Pressure Gauge: Optimized for SEO

Simply insert the 7215 into the oxygen sensor hole. Large, easy-to-read gauge clearly shows pressure from 0-8 PSI. Specially designed tip provides more accurate pressure reading while stainless steel braided tube withstands high-heat engine conditions. A universal adapter is also included for vehicles with thermactor systems. For use on GM, Ford, Chrysler and imported vehicles.

Works great, I'm happy with this tool

Works great, I'm happy with this tool, but it's not easy to adjust, you can use simpler nozzles so that it's not so easy to get to the O2 sensor, because the exhaust becomes very hot for a short time. no big deal, but it's a good tool. I would still recommend it for its good quality and usefulness.

Pros
  • Manometer sets
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Another must for every auto mechanic.

I use this tool any time a vehicle arrives with a suspected catalytic converter failure and using it with my snap-on scan tool has saved many customers thousands of dollars by providing their correctly diagnosed vehicles. the first time (and only half of the vehicles with Cat P0420/P0430 codes actually needed a new Cat).

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Negative Result Present

This check was done before use. I can't use this yet as the pressure gauge is not connected to the hose. There is a small female fitting on the hose, the pressure gauge does not fit in the box. The sensor is plastic, but that's probably fine after I bought and used the adapters. I'm going to update this review so much because I'm looking forward to testing my catalytic converters tonight. The house is a lot shorter than I thought it would be, only 24 to 30 inches long.

Pros
  • Gauges
Cons
  • String shorter than other picks
