I love this little monster! It made me laugh and matched my kitchen, so I bought it!The eye ball handles are strong enough to actually work as handles. The holes are well placed and the colander drains easily. I cook a pound of spaghetti at a time and have no issues with noodles slipping out through the holes.My only complaint, which made me consider returning it, is that one foot is damaged. My wife received this as an Xmas gift from myself, and she smiles every time she pulls it out from its home in the cabinet. That alone makes it worth five stars in my book, but it's also sized nicely (just slightly smaller than a "standard' colander,) is made of very strong plastic, and has extremely expressive eyes which make for great handles. This was a gift for a dear friend who loves to cook and is a kitchen maven! Spaghetti nights are the favorite at her house, so this was perfect! I sent it off as a Winter Holiday gift and she loved it! Yesterday, she sent me the above photo with the words "It has shrimp in it, so it's a Sea Monster!" *chuckle* Practical, sturdy and fun. Fast shipping, excellent packing and minimal packaging (eco-friendly monster!) make this a no-brainer for future gifts and when I get one for me!

Love the look of this strainer. It makes me laugh every time I see it and it feels like it'll last. I only wish it was slightly bigger to make things easier, but it definitely does what I need it to.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister and her family. They have been quite entertained by it and I often get pictures of them wearing it as a hat! The only downside that my sister mentioned is that it easily can tip over when straining pasta. She said you have to make sure it's on a completely flat surface and her sink is slightly rounded. But it's a novelty gift that is great fun. Works very well for rinsing veggies and such.

By the grace of his noodley appendage I have been touched! A great gift for any pastafarian. A bit small for my big head so I can’t wear it to services because it would be too uncomfortable for an extended period of time but it holds our lord and savior well with only a few appendages working their way through the holes in the bottom. All praise OTOTO for making this wonderful sacred object.

Good quality, a little smaller then i thought but it did fit a whole pack of spaghetti in it! I feel i spent 5$ over what its worth but it is super cute and the kids get a kick out of it! All in all i am happy with my purchase and the kids love pasta so he’ll be getting alot of attention.

It's a sturdy thick plastic, it drains well, the handles are far enough out that it helps prevent getting burned by steam. My only issue is that because the eye stalks stick out so far, storage can be an issue if you don't have a lot of space.

The product is well designed and of good quality, but is a bit smaller than I imagined it from the pictures. Still good though.

So functional! I love that I can hold the eyes and the steam stays pretty far away. Sits well on its legs so it doesn't touch the bottom of the sink or counter if I have to set it down for whatever reason. I got it because it's cute but it turns out to be a wonderful product I would highly recommend

I love this colander! It’s very cute, works well for pasta, fruits, vegetables and anything else you may need to rinse or strain. It’s functional, silly looking and always manages to bring a little humor or a smile to me or anyone else who is around whenever it’s in use.

This is adorable, as you can see from the picture. It is a clever idea, but poorly executed. This is small - not a regular size colander. It can tip over VERY easily and does. And it is amazing that it costs what it does. It cannot cost more than a couple dollars max to make.If you want something to make you smile and you have money to burn, go ahead and get this. If you want something to drain pasta or the like, buy something sturdier.

Super cute. I bought this for a secret Santa gift for a co worker. She’s a chef and loves cute weird stuff like this. I purchased squid ink spaghetti to give her too. It’s black so it makes it even freakier. Very sturdy as well!

It's a strainer and it's adorable, not much else to say. Wish it was a little bigger but that's my only complaint Monster design may not align with certain cultural or religious beliefs.

Parents are supposed to teach kids not to play with food. So this is a total parenting fail. It works fine. Sturdier than expected. Maybe if dinner time is fun kids will a healthier relationship with food?
