Otterbox's greed is evident in the Galaxy S9 and S9+ Defender series cases. The case is open so you need to find a protective film for the most vulnerable part of the phone. Another company makes cases similar to Otterbox's before they started scamming their consumers, and it's a lot cheaper. The Otterbox that was the standard for mobile security is dead. Totally gross

I've had S9+ since the day it was released but no Otter Box in stock yet; You can't have a new $800 phone without a case. So I quickly took a closer look and bought a suitcase and even ordered another brand from Revain. They were both fine but nothing like the Otter Box I had for each of my phones. It's the strongest, safest, thickest and most reliable case on the market. I recommend this and only that to everyone!

The case itself is excellent and offers exceptional protection and everyday usability worthy of five stars. I had a defender series for my old Motorola Razr. Many years ago I had a serious accident that affected my hands and their ability to grip objects which is why I fall ALL 20 billion times a day. The defender does his job. I swear by it. My Razr has been abused for years and would certainly be a shambles without it. Don't be fooled by people who don't have this case or can't think of a case without a screen protector, it's a very protective case. I actually like that it doesn't come with a screen protector as my screen protector was terrible for my s7 edge and I took it off anyway. Curved screens cannot cope with this. I have been a firm believer in Otter Boxes for many years. In my opinion, nothing protects your phone better. I have had 3 Galaxy phones and they all had an Otterbox case. I loved the first one on my S3, it was built like a tank and when I replaced the phone 4 years later it looked brand new.
