Software on camera is limited -2 stars for water intrusion

About camera firmware: Cannot login via web interface (no IP address on this camera) - MUST use app (which requires some serious work ) Cannot detect motion without using a hardware IR sensor (cannot be used through glass or behind glass) will come out soon as this camera's software can be much more powerful. I will return this star if they add some software improvements or allow some tweaks. Seriously Reolink. Do you use your own cameras? This camera may be AMAZING, but as it is it's a bit…

Cannot talk to camera from phone without phone

Crime is coming. Shout out the window, wait, criminal, give me headphones to scare you away, dammit, where are my headphones! Yes, the seller says the headphones stop reverberating through the phone when talking to the camera. Do not buy! The video is good. The audio from the camera is too low, you speak loudly straight into your phone and it whispers from the camera that the intruder will think he likes you! Until he hears your own voice echoing in your phone and turning into a spooky…

Piece of mind as a barn camera

Bought for my non-techy wife and here's her review: Perfect for checking out an injured pony on holiday day or night! (Sarai is 25 minutes away and there is no Wi-Fi.) The video is smooth and the picture quality is great (screenshots from my camera)! Two settings: high or low - here I use the lowest resolution and can easily see if the movie is open. A little lag in pan/tilt, but it's ok. Moderately easy to set up (Reolink's Corrin tech support emails helped a BIG TIME as everything worked…

It's not easy to get online. no luck so far.

No luck so far. They expect the customer to search, find, buy and activate the SIM card and hope they will buy what they need to work with Reolink. So not yet. I've read all cell phone compatibility sites multiple times. All recommended SIM cards entered. Walmart and other retailers don't have these brands.4 The cell phone department had no idea what would work with the remote camera. SD card for data storage. No, I explained that a 4G LTE style SIM card is required for mobile phones. No one in

FAILED TO LOAD! Useless "remote " camera.

Loading failed. Download failed. Download failed. Download failed. Download failed. Download failed. Download failed. Download failed. Download failed. Download failed. Download failed. Download 1% 2% 3% 4% 5% 6%… 62% Download failed. 🤬 Watching live video usually works fine, so it's not cellular; It's an idiotic download protocol that probably needs enough bandwidth for live video instead of just using TCP to check packets for errors and send them out as fast as possible. Reolink continues to be reliable

I have several other camera models from them and they are quite reliable. It was easy to install on a utility pole near my house so it could face the backyard. The setup at T-Mobile was pretty easy once I added an internet line and got their SIM card (definitely had to contact the support team). It's 2GB for $15/month and I'm not even close to that. I believe that only a constant daily broadcast will move you. Like their other cameras, the SD card feature comes in handy for storing footage and…

Reolink 3G-4G LTE PTZ Outdoor Solar Powered

This review is for Reolink 3G/4G LTE Outdoor Solar Powered PTZ Camera. no wifi access I bought this. When opening the box, the camera feels flimsy, especially the mount. I bought a T-Mobile Nano card and brought it home and the installation was pretty easy. Note, however, that other reviews say it has to be prepaid by T-Mobile or ATT via Cricket, Mint, or Liberty Pop. NOT RIGHT. Having no service at the end of my trip with T-Mobile, I went to an ATT store where I just told them what I needed…

This will take a long time. but it's a good camera.

So that's my preview of the Reolink Go PT and some of the things I've encountered while using the regular Reolink Go. Hope this helps someone. I've only had this camera for a few months so I'll update later. I've seen a lot of incorrect information in other reviews and in the questions section so thought I'd offer my five cents for what I've experienced so far. The first thing I would like to highlight is that their customer service has been great for me. specially Peter. I originally started…
