Alloy USA 11212: Lightweight Red Aluminum Differential Cover for Dana 44 - High Performance Upgrade! Review

Only had to give 1 star because I flew out of the return window. LYING! not suitable for Ranger 3.0L. more than disappointed.

Excellent quality and design. The equipment was even good. The dipstick seems a little useless, but it works, so I'm not complaining. It also has a high quality finish. In general I am very satisfied with the product. Also looks good on my jeep.

Nice cover but a pity I didn't get it in black. Although I see a lot of Jeeps with a red cap on the Dana 44, turns out I'm not a fan of having it on mine. Maybe one day I'll paint it. Nice cap with drain plug but due to my gearbox angle the dipstick is not used.

Perfect for my 2015 Rubicon Hard Rock with 44. You will definitely need a hand pump to fill, but I always use a pump for ease of use. The cover I received was flawless in terms of fit and finish. I may update this review once I remove a few stones from it. I will probably never use a drain plug because my standard plug is on the bottom.

I chose this cover because it is very similar in shape to my original steel cover Grease flows the way the engineers originally designed this differential. I wanted the lid to replace the original just to add some strength to the case and it looks nice as a plus. Jeep XJ Dana44.

This is a quality replacement Dana 44 Aluminum Cap that fits perfectly and is easy to install. It has a fill hole, a drain hole and a "dipstick" used to add new gear oil to the correct level. Order a Lube Locker to complete the installation. I'm not sure why Revain thinks this cover doesn't fit the 2013 Jeep Wrangler JKU. I can confirm that this case does indeed fit the JKU 2013. I also installed a matching cover for the Dana 33 front axle.

I love this product because: 1. It's made of aluminum, it's very strong and light. 2.) Magnetic drain plug to catch metal floating in your diff. 3.) Looks great and has a great finish machine coated 4.) Doesn't come off like a factory cap when riding off road 5.) Oil dipstick is a MUST for me because I have installed outer axle tube seals which can hide inner seal leaks. I check the dipstick every time I service my Jeep. This is my favorite feature of this diff cover and it costs half the price
