Review on Alloy USA 11212: Lightweight Red Aluminum Differential Cover for Dana 44 - High Performance Upgrade! by Chris Moody

I love this product because: 1. It's made of aluminum, it's very strong and light. 2.) Magnetic drain plug to catch metal floating in your diff. 3.) Looks great and has a great finish machine coated 4.) Doesn't come off like a factory cap when riding off road 5.) Oil dipstick is a MUST for me because I have installed outer axle tube seals which can hide inner seal leaks. I check the dipstick every time I service my Jeep. This is my favorite feature of this diff cover and it costs half the price of most competing covers with this feature. 6.) Quality hardware included (except RTV - I have used Locker Lube seals and highly recommend them over RTV) 7.) ***Alloy's brilliant design team have greatly improved this product over the original design. The new bottom drain plug is now a flat countersunk plug! (The seller's recent photo shows a cap screw, which worried me as that could be a failure point scratching the rocks). The new design eliminates this potential point of failure. (See my attached drawing). I purchased my product in March 2020 so I assume current shipping products have this update. All in all, a great quality product at an unbeatable price!
