It saved a life!? I broke my mirror and called the store who told me $800 to fix just that part. I went to AutoZone and it sold out and it was $80. until I found it a lot cheaper here and it was so easy to install. I drive a white car and was able to remove the black cover from my original white one and it fitted the 2017 Nissan Altima perfectly. Good product.

I was skeptical at first when ordering, not sure if it's actually compatible but it saved me a few hundred bucks! My car was stolen in 2020 and it was very painful for me to go through the insurance process etc. Then a few months after it was restored someone broke my side mirror and I didn't want to go through the insurance process again or pump out any money. The mirror was easy to install after watching the online video. There was some difficulty removing the broken original mirror from the door and detaching the inner door panel. The new mirror fits perfectly. I had to provide 10mm nuts as one of the original mirrors had snapped off. There were no nuts in the product packaging. The original gray high gloss finish is present so no painting is required. The total cost is $43 and one hour of time compared to the retailer's offer of $347.

The original cover is not suitable for this build. Ease of installation. The mirror is not as hard as the original. I bought this product thinking I was going to replace the entire mirror assembly but when I realized the cover was not included I just needed to the cover and the glass. part, I simply attached the lid to my original block and popped out the glass part with a flat head. It's not the same as mine on the passenger side but you can tell they're shaped a bit differently but it works. Also, my car was already in gloss black so the cover was all I needed. Too bad they only owe that part.

*****UPDATE IN 2 DAYS***** As mentioned earlier the glass in the mirror was loose but I didn't understand how loose , because today i was driving on the interstate and i looked in the mirror and the glass vibrated from the wind. It was so bad that I couldn't get a clear picture. Definitely not worth the money in my opinion. I am looking for a new mirror or I buy it poorly from the dealer at a higher price!
