Disappointing Performance from Power Suppressors

This product was a letdown for my Industrial and Scientific needs. Through trial and error I found that it failed to deliver on its promises of reduced interference and smoother power flow. The voltage fluctuations persisted and even caused damage in some cases. On the plus side, it is compact AND easy to install... Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros and I would not recommend this product..

Pros
  • Provides excellent filtering of electrical noise and interference for a more stable power supply.
Cons
  • May experience reduced efficiency in lower voltage situations.

Good squelch for motors with speed controller

Almost every AC motor that is connected to the speed controller will usually cause a hum/hum from the motor. Sticking one of these between the ESC and the motor will reduce it significantly. Most are larger (and more efficient), but for a small motor, they're small enough to fit in the back of a deep single box behind the speed controller.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • So far so good
