False Capacity Advertised

I bought 2 of the 5000 mah, 2S 50c batteries for my Redcat Shredder. After about 3 full power cycles, I noticed my run time was just about the same as my 2700mah batteries. I tested both batteries using 2 different chargers/measurer (M8S and Turnigy ) One battery discharged a total 3700mah and other 3600 mah between 4.21V down to 3.6 volts per cell. Now that is less than 75% of advertised capacity. The batteries looked good including case and box, came with a sticker too. I was hoping the…

DO NOT PASS THIS UP!

I was so skeptical about this battery being so cheapI am pleasantly surprised with this purchase.We have 2 Axial crawlers, 2 Deerc bashers and an slash so I will be putting Ovonic’s in them!

Pros

Capacity is good, may get more as it gets used? Ir is around 5m per cell. Not bad for the price.

Cons

The battery may not fit all types of RC cars, limiting its compatibility

Batteries okay 5000 lipo battery do not charge it always stop charging think I got a new charger I don't know yet we'll see and I'll let you know

So far so good! good for me

Picked this up for my son's Rustler 4x4. Works as good or better than the Venom 2S Lipo we had. This is a great value so far. All you need is an adapter for the battery.

Pros

I use these brand batteries in all my rc trucks

Cons

The weight and size of the battery may take up a considerable amount of space in the RC car, limiting storage for other components

Fire hazard: my feedback

I received this battery and immediately put it on charge for my son to put in his RC car and within 10 minutes the battery EXPLODED in FLAMES which in turn burnt 3ft of my carpet and almost my house if I wouldn’t have caught it in time. I want a refund!
