[Update] The leather case inside the box has an unpleasant smell. Everything else is perfect. I bought it for less than $10 each. Packaging and packaging are all good. I'm taking off a star because everything in the packaging immediately gave off a faint smell. I've got stuff on the air for a few hours and it's almost over.

I am a fan of OCW products and they work as intended but are not as well made as the more expensive OWC Mercury On-The-Go cases. An unused replacement Samsung 830 series SSD was placed in this case. Inserting and locking an SSD into the case is very simple and works efficiently. Being plastic means it's lighter, but also easily damaged if dropped, so a little care needs to be taken to keep an eye on the ore. It's also a good price, so no complaints about that.

Yes, this hard drive case is plastic but very sturdy and the USB 3.0 connector (and cable that comes with it) is very high quality and works great. The description says it has a mini USB 2.0 cable, but it actually comes with a USB 3.0 cable to connect to a USB 3.0 port on the drive itself.
