saved me Internal SSDs

This device allowed me to access the Quickbooks folder that was inside a Macbook Air while pouring some pretty wine over the keyboard. It costs $45 to get all the information you should have backed up in the first place. Let's see if I can fix the airbook and put it back to work. Otherwise it's a reasonable SSD hard drive in six sizes, as well as the memory of the most expensive glass of wine I've ever drunk. I had no issues with the screws, as did a few reviewers. I have the right drivers and…

worth your money!

This thing is amazing. I had a damaged MacBook Air that was beyond repair, but I was able to salvage the SSD. Easy to install, people here exaggerate and whine too much. Yes they could use other screws but oh well if you have a set of T# bits you will be fine, I used T5 on top and T6 on the bottom they unscrew right away. It's a one-time thing you do, so whatever. Small annoyance is worth the performance. Did I say performance? Yes. The Blackmagic has a reading speed of around 380MB/s and a…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • It worries me

I've only had the device for a few days but was very pleased to discover that my friend's device used the internal SSD from my former 15" Macbook Pro Retina of a similar age, around 5 years old , reads out alt.minutes of work by Dremel to carve tiny aluminum protrusions into this case, it works like a charm and now I have a 500GB external SSD which is absurdly fast!Very happy, since 5 days of receipt!

Does not correspond to the declared years.

I wish they would just show the exact type of the key, it would be better to guess from the picture. I definitely would have known it was mislabeled and would not have bought it. And they don't answer emails.

Very helpful! in Internal SSDs

This kit came to the rescue. Note that you will need tools that are NOT included. I thought they would and I had to rush to buy them. Mine is bad, not theirs, but a warning to others in the market for the good of the cause.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • I don't have a lot of grudges about it, everything is fine

Does the job, but too expensive.

Now either that or cheap plastic. I settled on an overpriced piece of Chinese aluminum (not American aluminum, btw). Your choice but be aware. Also, I had to buy this for a reason: my $3,000 MacBookAir RAM broke, and it would have cost me the same amount to fix it. So it obviously wasn't difficult to spend $50 on a small case that I can then plug into my wife's MacPro.

Pros
  • Normal price

  • I'll write later
