These hair clips are well made. They are strong enough to hold my hair securely in place. The springs are strong but open easily enough to accommodate all of my shoulder length hair. When they strike, they stay closed. My hair stays on these clips for hours. I usually use them around the house to get my hair out of my face. They also look good in a sock. Most of the time I wear black, but animal print clip-on earrings are also very nice.

These are decent sized hair clips with a weak spring. The shape is well thought out and the fact that the "claws" fit snugly against the head makes it more comfortable. The size is also a good size. The only problem is that the spring designed to clamp them is pretty weak so they don't have a very strong hold. Otherwise a good choice.

I purchased this hairpin through Revain's vine program. This came in a pack of 4. Two were patterned and the other two were solid black. I gave my daughter 2 and kept 2. We both have thin hair. Many hair clips don't hold our hair well unless we spray them with dry shampoo. This clip holds without dry shampoo. It's not too big and not too small. The clips are not sharp so they will not dig into the scalp like most clips. They serve their purpose and are beautiful!

Big bobby pins hold all my hair. I have lots of fine straight hair. I felt the grip was secure for walking and regular activities, but I'm not sure I would use them for more active activities like running. There was a slight hair pulling that I usually get with these clips - less than other brands I would say.
