The cut pieces are so easy because we stack the jump rings that attach the bells to the other joints on top of each other, rather than soldering them and leaving them with jagged edges so they can hook into a lot of the other fabrics I've used , and pull the strings. If you're trying to buy this be sure to take the time to fit any adapter rings onto it, of which there are many, or solder the jump rings that are already there.

This is clearly NOT handmade. possibly hand picked, but the coins are very mass produced. Knitted with medium quality yarn. Not very durable if you intend to wear it to work. It sheds pieces and sticks to other materials. So if you have a favorite skirt or trendy scarf that you want to keep in good condition, don't mix and match them. It looks beautiful, which is why I gave it 2 stars.
