🏺 OXO Good Grips 5-Piece Airtight POP Container Set, White - Organize and Preserve Your Kitchen Essentials Review

I've always loved OXO products but they were SO disappointing. They are NOT sealed as advertised. My sugar ranch mix turned into big bricks. The lids jumping off when the container tips over is less annoying.

As a mother of 11 month old twins these containers help me to keep my gummy bears securely on the stand. Sometimes all I need is a short vacation and some gummy bears. Other times I have to sit on the bed and eat half a can. Either way, these containers keep all of my mom's snacks fresh and organized.

Love love love these OXO Good Grips POP storage boxes; and they look gorgeous on a shelf or countertop. I've labeled some of them so others who use my kitchen don't confuse flour with confectioners' sugar or baking powder with baking soda; but I leave most unlabeled because you can easily identify the contents.

These are great for organization and help maximize storage space. And they look beautiful. However, they are not intended for long-term storage. I just tossed the crackers, cereal, popcorn, pretzels, and chips in the bin...everything was rotten after being stored in those containers for a long time. If your food needs to be stored sealed I would not recommend storing it in these containers for more than 3 weeks.

They're nice and all and make a pretty good closure but I don't think they're worth the price. The material is not very good, it scratches easily, and if you drop it, it breaks immediately! Almost nothing fits the little ones. The only positive is that they look nice and cool and seem to seal in freshness. we will see. Imagine they are made of glass because they break so easily. My pantry is organized chaos in the darkest of times, I know I have things but I can't always find them and when I do sometimes they're expired. I was hoping they would help me with my perishables and they've done a great job of helping me keep my pantry a little cleaner, but I haven't owned them long enough to tell if they keep groceries longer keep fresh. I will say they are a bit difficult to clean if you are like me and take everything apart and clean thoroughly before putting anything back

Four stars instead of five because why is everything so expensive? They are big but small. The description says the measurements, but I really have a hard time imagining things like that. Very expensive for what they are, but you know OXO will charge you for these things. There are alternative brands, but they don't seem to hold their airtight properties as well as the OXO containers. Two large containers seem useless to me. They only seem to fit very large items (like pasta) and I can't find any other use for them. They are also very thin and awkward to use. This is the second set of OXO POP containers I have bought. I bought a really big set a while back and it got me hooked. My white rice/cereal/oatmeal/cereal no longer gets wormy (I know, "disgusting"). My cat's food is kept in a transparent container so I can see when it's gone.
