🧹 Efficient Dusting Made Easy with OXO Good Grips Microfiber Hand Duster Review

A lot of microfiber came loose on first use and I had to vacuum the curtains and floor thoroughly afterwards. The same with washing: a lot of fabric comes off. This would be a great product if made to last.

This cloth is terrible. The fibers fell out even when I opened the box and they kept shedding like crazy. It collects dust well, but the dust instantly dulls the fibers. (I'll attach a picture of both.) Save money and buy something else.

I'm rarely disappointed with the things I buy from Revain and even more rarely disappointed with OXO products, but this one is a total let down. On first use, the cloth's orange fibers began to fall out. If you don't use it on a perfectly smooth surface, the fibers will get caught and pulled out. After dusting, I had orange fibers all over my house. I don't even want to imagine what will be in the washing machine.

Waste of money. Red threads fall off everywhere when first used. It's like they're not even sewn into the damn thing. It's not a noob, it's a typical microfiber. It's such a thin, silky, yarn-like thing. I sprinkled once, and the threads have already fallen out. I tried to shake off some dust and found more red thread falling out. I'm not sure if I can even wash it because I'm sure it will fall apart. Extremely dissatisfied.

I just got it but already like it. Due to dust mite allergies, housework triggers allergic reactions whether I clean or not. Thus the dust gathers between bouts of courage and cowardice until I am forced to take more active action. I love how it picks up even thick layers of dust while keeping the distance. Shaking it out is easy, and once you decode the latch to remove the rag from the handle, it's easy to toss in the washing machine.

Buy one and you'll wonder how you used to live without it. More efficient than the Swiffer and also more environmentally friendly but my biggest concern is the rag picking up dust quickly and efficiently. Dust will no doubt get in and with one swipe (wipe) fills a rag and needs to be cleaned before trying again. Not easy. Dust doesn't clump like my old rags.
