Works great on many vehicles.

used step drill worked great. Then I cleaned the exhaust around the hole. Put the spark plug in the around the spark plug slightly wetted with slime, after welding put a wet rag on the exhaust pipe to 1/4 of the circumference (mig) and let it cool down in between. 0 default. Happy with it and have extra. Chevrolet k1500 98

Pros
  • Unique step design for easy installation
Cons
  • thin

Exactly as advertised

Good threading, seems well made. Welded normally, there were no deformations after welding. The O2 sensor fits well. It's good to have a 10mm head in case you really need to put some torque on it to get it off. The price also seems good. I think in some cases you might need a copper washer so keep that in mind.

Pros
  • Made in the USA by After Market Auto & More
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

All threads in my kit were good. They are thin and low - that is.

All the threads in my kit were good. They're thin and low - which is what I wanted - so you need to know what you're doing when welding them. Weld them with a plug coated with an anti-seize coating and weld slowly. They won't spoil if you're careful. Do not weld with the sensor in the connector.

Pros
  • Mild steel
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Ideal for 4T60E/4T65E oil pans.

Ideal for installing a weld plug on oil pans. This is a great value, quality product that drains quicker than regular 1/4" plugs used for this purpose. Used on a GM 4T60E transmission with a very shallow sump; I was able to remove the entire plug after the Flush welding inside and the plug was flush inside with the addition of a copper compression washer.

Pros
  • Brand new condition
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
