I got the X-large. I'm 5'7" and I guess my hands are about average. I usually buy large size gloves but some said these run small. The X-large are just right for me, great for shoveling snow. I got them wet once, slightly wet, and my hands stayed warm and dry. They are very comfortable to wear with the lamb's wool lining (I guess that's what it is).I've not had them long so I can't tell you how well built they are, but they appear to be well made, time will tell. Gloves appear to be OK, but tired of sizing that is way off. Wastes a lot of time and makes buying on line difficult. Thanks for attention.

The gloves are fine but a bit small, I ordered a large for my husband's hand but should have ordered the x-large That's my feedback!

Well constructed gloves, Purchase a pair of large sized gloves. Gloves run a little small. May loosen up after prolonged use.

These would keep your hands warm and dry, but because of the good thick outside and the thick warm lining on the inside, they would not work well if you needed to use your fingers. Just too stiff. I returned them and got ones that did not have the warmth, so would not work well for winter.

These gloves run just a little bit small, but I think they'll stretch in time. They are not water resistant at all, but while walking dogs or skiing they are very nice for keeping your hands warm and dry. I can use them while driving, too, when the car is very cold. They are good gloves!

I don't buy gloves like this for ultimate warmth. I like an all around glove that isn't easily damaged. I have small hands and the medium fits very well. Snug now but in a month they break in.

Ive bought these gloves for myself and my crews for years. They are comfortable and well stitched. The insulation gives extra padding and does a reasonable job for cold weather work.A pair lasts me about 2-4 months before they get crispy or i wear the fingers out-Cheap enough to replace- but excellent for the job site.

I went off other reviews saying they ran small and that’s 100% false. The mediums are huge. Warmth wise they’re pretty good. Water resistant but not water proof so if the water sits on them longer than 30 seconds it’s going to soak in. Breaking in period necessary, they’re very stiff.

Bought these to replace a pair of cowhide gloves I gave away. First of all, these are definitely yellow, not gold. Second, they smell a bit like chemicals, probably from the dye. Lastly, if you get snow on them, the snow sticks in the leather (deerskin?) and grip becomes slick.However, they are tough and warm.

Finger tips aren’t the best at staying warm and part of the stitching came undone by the right hand pointer finger. Other wise great gloves for outdoor winters

well to sum it up they r nicely made and warm but far as work gloves go you'll find that you ll be limited to what you can do because they lack mobility and ìt limits your task holding a coffee cup will take both hands so beware

I go through a lot of gloves on the farm in Nebraska. These hold up to -40 below. My hands stay warm , I don’t lose their dexterity in my fingers. I am outside for hours sometimes.and so far, so good. It’s been a month and they are holding up fine. It does take a day or so to break them in. Now they fit … like a globe - no pun intended.

Have not used in wet weather so cannot comment on that. I thinkthey run a little small. I have a large hand but on the thin side andordered an X-large which felt a little tight. a big beefy hand wouldnot do in a X-Large.

These bad boys are awesome! These are much more for heavier applications such as mowing, general work around small farms, or even large, etc. I would not recommend these for weeding the garden beds as they are quite thick and you lose dexterity in these, and will not be able to grab smaller weeds, BUT they are simply amazing for the other stuff. Purchased for cutting wood and walking the dog….just got them but so far meet my expectations for the price. I’m sure these gloves were warm but it had a strong odor to them and could not keep them.!

My husband was not able to fit or use the gloves because they did not come in small. He works out side in the elements. But, he said they were very warm inside and kept one pair and gave the other to a co worker.

I have only just received the gloves and have not been able to put them through any kind of durability, warmth, or water resistance test. Many of the reviews said that the size ran small. I used their size chart and mine are snug, but not tight. In my opinion, they fit just right. Some reviews mentioned them being very stiff. Any leather glove that has leather as thick as these is going to be more stiff than say, thin driving gloves or dress gloves. They are work gloves! I did not think that…

I was so dissappointed.they are too small for my hands. I wish they'd had an xtra large option. Guess i'll try and break them in.not getting them wet though because i don't want to take a chance that they might shrink even smaller.
