I have only just received the gloves and have not been able to put them through any kind of durability, warmth, or water resistance test. Many of the reviews said that the size ran small. I used their size chart and mine are snug, but not tight. In my opinion, they fit just right. Some reviews mentioned them being very stiff. Any leather glove that has leather as thick as these is going to be more stiff than say, thin driving gloves or dress gloves. They are work gloves! I did not think that they were overly stiff considering the thickness of the leather and the fact that they are WORK GLOVES. I noticed a faint odor to them, but nothing overly strong or offensive as some have reported. My biggest complaint is that the color does not match the pictures. I ordered the brown to match a dark brow suede leather jacket that I have. The first pair that I received, I thought that they sent the Gold color instead, so I returned them and reordered in BROWN. The second pair was the same color as the first. Comparing to the pictures, if this is, in fact, the brown, it is only a slight bit darker than the GOLD in the picture, and definitely not as dark as the BROWN in the picture. So, while the gloves will not match my jacket as I had hoped, I decided that the contrast would provide and acceptable appearance. Other than the color, which has nothing to do with quality, my overall first impression of these gloves is a good one.
