This is the best way to add and boost your factory Bose system as it has an integrated remote start for your amp. I have a 2018 Camaro ZL1 with the battery in the back. I used this lock and didn't have to look for a remote control to turn on my amp. As soon as it detects a signal, e.g. B. when you open a door, it turns on the amplifier. Eliminates the need for remote cable management. Definitely recommend!

LOC is of more than good quality and works great in my standard stereo. Used it to hook up the system to a new amp and subwoofer. Just make sure you make good connections to your stereo wiring. When first installing I used some cable connectors that didn't make clean contact with the cables and I got very poor feedback that sounded like noise in my front speakers (the cables I tapped into). After redoing the wiring with good contact it worked great and my system sounds fantastic.

I hooked up a subwoofer to a factory Toyota head unit. It works and I think I have a pretty clean signal going back to the amp. I had an issue with the signal only getting about 2 amps but I called tech support from the US and the guy was very helpful. He explained that this is normal and depends on my head unit. Not everyone has speakers in the trunk. I have a 2009 Toyota Matrix. I have 4 speakers in all the doors. So I had no choice but to install pac lp7-2 behind my stock radio.
