Description of PAC VOLT 39 Adjustable Voltage Adapter

4-position switch selects desired voltage output. 3.3V for some cameras as a replacement power supply. 5V uses include turning on the amp in older Ford vehicles. 6V for OE reverse camera retention. 9V for use with a wide range of devices that run on 9V.

Waste of Money! in my review

This voltage adapter was nothing but a headache AND total disappointment .It failed to deliver what it advertised. As my tests showed it was inconsistent and unreliable, causing power surges and tripping off the circuit breaker. Overall, I do not recommend this Automotive product to anyone..

Essential for stock Ford head units with Mach 460 system

This works great for my 2003 Mustang with Mach 460 system. This is required if you have an aftermarket head unit with a stock subwoofer/ Install speakers. Hallmarks of the factory Mach 460 system include a 5V output. Installing a stock 12V main unit will minimally result in the loud pop that many users hear upon power up, or possible/eventual system crash. This voltage adapter solves the problem perfectly.
