This machine has been very good until recently when I'm trying to calibrate ie. I get an error code, "Warning, something was found in the scanner". I tried reconnecting the CD software = re-enter. The initial setup was a bit difficult due to software changes between my system and the scanner. This issue was resolved quickly and professionally by a Pacific Image Electronics customer service representative. Apparently, she was well versed in all aspects of the scanner and how it interacted with a wide variety of computers of different makes, models, and modifications. Make sure to download the latest driver from [.] as it may not come with the latest version for your operating system. This is the second version of this device that I own. I bought the first one a few years ago but only started digitizing my 35mm slides and negatives this year.
