Read other reviews on this baby sized jacket. Based on these reviews I increased the size of both jackets I purchased. These reviews were very helpful. Jackets are light but very warm. I tried on the larger one and went outside in 35F and was very warm even though I was only wearing a t-shirt underneath. Well-tailored, attractive coats at a great price.

My son is 8 years old and wears a size 10. I bought a medium sized down jacket from Pacific Trails and it fits him well. The length goes beyond the floor. It's light, feels like a feather, and the lining is thin. I would like something more powerful; but my son likes it, maybe because it doesn't seem too bulky. This is normal for mild Southern California winters. I'm not sure what I would like if we lived in an area that got snow. The outer nylon feels flimsy and I'm not sure it will stand up…
