We have a Big Berkey filtration system with two ceramic filters and two filters. It's time to change the filters and this time I've decided to use all four activated carbon filters. Bought two sets of Revain black filters through distributors in Colorado (received July 12th, installed about a week later). They were primed as indicated. The water flow was very good for about 2 weeks, then slowed down significantly. I washed them under cold water, wiped them down with a Scotchbrite cloth (NOT soap), primed them according to the instructions and reinstalled. They worked well for less than a week, then I had to repeat the cleaning process. A week later and same problem again…
