It works. Computers and Accessories

My computer case has two USB 3.0 ports on the front. However, my motherboard does not have a 20-pin USB 3.0 cable header on the front. This miniboard solves the problem and it works.

Not suitable for USB port cards

Couldn't really get this to work. The ports on this card face the CPU heatsink, leaving no room for power or USB connections. To get this to work I would need some sort of mini PCI extension.

Card worked right out of the box

There were no issues with the drivers, the card worked right out of the box, allowing the front USB 3 ports to be used in the new cases.

The WiFi adapter when using this card gave me a net gain of 1 USB 3.0 slot. It was a good idea in theory, but the slots this card manages are a…

Lack of OS support - disappointed. Attention Linux users.

The small size led me to believe this was the USB 3 solution for me. Isn't it, grasshopper. Installed in a Dell Optiplex 990 uSFF with Mint 20 and the latest kernel. The card is recognized in the BIOS (A24) but not recognized even after updates in Mint. Tried a replacement hard drive with the latest version and Win10 Pro Build. The card is not recognized. Yes, it's securely connected; The power cord is connected and the header is in place. waste of my money; We go to the cart with spare parts…
