Answering machine release

Before buying this phone, I carefully read all the important reviews. They were overall helpful and accurate. After receiving the phone and using it for 3 weeks we sent it back to Revain. Why: For me, this phone has a big problem: when you receive messages, you can only listen to the message through the speaker. You CANNOT use the wired handset to listen to messages. This makes the base unit unacceptable: messages MUST be received privately. What if you receive a very sensitive message and the…

This phone has problems - return

We've been using the same Panasonic 5.8Ghz line for many years and it's quiet. There's no background noise, but our new 4-line Panasonic is terrible. A constant high-pitched whistling comes from the handset of the base station, speakerphone, or extension, accompanied by other people's conversations. You can't understand what they're saying, but they sound like an off-frequency shortwave broadcast. We've done all the fixes recommended by Panasonic and nothing works. It's still there. Now they…

Good all in one phone system but with a fixable bug

This is a good all in one phone system for the home office or small business. Like other Panasonic phones, it's reliable and has very good sound quality. And like other Panasonic phones, the user interface isn't the best, but it does the job. While this model hasn't changed in a while, the only useful feature I think was missing from later models is something that flashes on each remote device to indicate that a message is waiting on the underlying device. However, I had a problem. About a year

Nice Phone System: Phones & Accessories

We bought this 4 line phone system two years ago. Setup was pretty easy as I read the manual in its entirety before I started programming. The sound quality is good. This is a home/home business system and we have all eight cordless phones and all four incoming CO lines. The autoresponder part works very well, allowing us to easily change individual greetings. It is particularly easy to send a received message to any handset so that the assigned handset and not the base station flashes. We…

Very good business phone for ONE person

After examining existing corded phones, this model stands out from the rest. The two features that attracted me to this phone are MUSIC HOLD and CALL RECORDING. Two features I couldn't find on other phones in the same price range. What I love about this phone. + MUSIC HOLD > This phone came with ONE pre-recorded music track that I wasn't particularly interested in. You can also record your own music by connecting the cable (supplied with the phone) between the 35mm audio jack and the headset

EZ for limited functionality Economical solution for small offices

We've been using this system for about two years for an engineering firm of seven. It works well for us, but we understand that we made a decision based on cost. compared to other available business phone systems. However, for less than $1,000 or the cost of a base station and satellite phones, it's a steal compared to $3,000 or more for a phone system. Also, it's a wireless system, so you only need to plug the base into a real phone jack and you can plug other phones in anywhere there's a…
