Stupid silence. No power plant. Great for small jobs.

I'm a guy with a beard. I live with a roommate. Its door is closest to the bathroom. We work in different shifts. Every morning when I get ready for work I have to dry my manly mane so I don't smell like a wet dog. My old hair dryer wasn't that loud. Until I got this. Oh God. I seriously can't hear it from behind the closed bathroom door. When the air conditioner turns on, I hear air in the vent during drying. If you have 2ft thick curly hair, you may want to choose a different dryer. This one…

Quiet and dries great!

So quiet and dries your hair so well! I got this because I live in a small house with my boy and dog. My old hair dryer was so loud that I couldn't dry it in my sleep. Now I can blow dry in my sleep without waking either of them up. I can also use a blow dryer on low speed to dry my dog's hair. She doesn't get upset because the noise is so quiet. It's powerful too! It dries hair just as well, if not better than my old blow dryer. I am happy with my purchase.

  • Cool

Really quiet and very light!

Compared to my old Infinity Pro Hair Dryer, this thing is AMAZING! I made a video so you can see how quiet it is in comparison. Also for those wondering if a diffuser is enough, YES! I just bought a universal diffuser (yes I know it's huge) and it fits great! The diffuser I bought is said to be 1.4-2.6 inches, so placing it over this dryer works perfectly. I also think this dryer from Panasonic is about half the weight of the Infinity Pro and also more compact. This dryer has 3 modes: low…

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • So-so

I was so impressed with this hair dryer that I bought 10 more to give away for Christmas. My friend measured how long it would take to dry her hair with a very noisy hair dryer she already owns instead of Panasonic's new low noise hair dryer. Six minutes instead of seven minutes, 16% more drying time. A small price to pay to save your hearing. The low noise level means people in adjacent rooms won't hear it while we're on vacation. Only produce a low noise vacuum cleaner.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

so calm! I can't believe it

Purchased After reading many articles and reviews I was hoping for the most silent hair dryer possible. My new dog attacked my old hair dryer, and even when I closed the bathroom door, turned on the TV for her, gave her melatonin and peanut butter kong, she still went into attack mode when she heard the old one. I didn't realize how terribly loud it was until I got ionic. Drying my hair is just a very pleasant experience. It doesn't push much air but heats up fairly quickly and works well. I…
