Secure and Convenient Circuit Board Holder

This circuit board holder is a must-have for any industrial and scientific workholding. Its unique design provides a secure and convenient way to hold circuit boards in place during soldering or assembly. The adjustable arms allow for various board sizes and the non-slip base holds the holder firmly in place. The only con is that it can be a bit pricey compared to other options, but the quality and convenience make it worth the investment....

Pros
  • Securely holds circuit boards in place for easy soldering and repairs.
Cons
  • Requires some setup and adjustment to fit different sizes and shapes of circuit boards.

Locking mechanism needs revision

Received a Panavise 217 today. I already had an older version of the larger 315 and it works great. I wish I could say the same about the Panavise 217. Mind you, the construction is solid, the parts fit together as intended, etc. However, the 315 has screws that hold the levers in place during use. The 217 has these little spring loaded swing arms that somehow have to keep the arms from sliding down the main beam. You are completely useless. You can compress them (according to the instructions)

Pros
  • Ideal PCB holder for edge boards with components
Cons
  • Expensive
