This is a great addition to my 2015 FJ-09. They seem to offer adequate protection if the bike falls and they look good doing it. The fit was perfect after clarifying the extremely vague instructions. 4 stars for poor instructions. But 5 stars for the bars themselves.

This handlebar fits my FJ09. Installation was pretty easy. Looks good on my bike. My only complaint was that it arrived with some scratches exposing the silver paint. Maybe because of handling and shipping maybe. I touched it up with black spray paint and covered it with clear coat. It's looking better now. It's a good roll bar that makes my bike more attractive.

Bought this for my son, a 2016 FJ-09. He put it down and made a slow turn when he hit loose dirt on the pavement. They worked very well. All we had to replace was a skid plate (unfortunately had to buy a pair) and we replaced the stock skid plates with Barkbusters. That's it, no more damage to the bike. Great product, I hope I don't have to buy a third time.

Solid workmanship. Very competitive prices. When installing, be sure to use the original engine/frame bolt that goes through the B-pillar for the lower left mounting point. Everything else is very easy, especially if you do it on the back stand and NOT the main stand. Check the pictures of the installation several times and take stock.

Well made and nice engine guard. Kinda hard. However, installing the left side requires removing the long screw that supports the Yamaha FJ-09's motor. I had to take the bike to a mechanic and it took half an hour to fit the left side - the job required lifting the motor to take the weight off the bolt which was still difficult to break through.
